Brain Warriors
The first youth platform for anxiety, compulsion and phobia.

The Angst, Dwang en Fobie (ADF) Foundation is creating the first online platform in the Netherlands for young people with anxiety and compulsive disorders. The platform is called Brain Warriors and is intended to be an accessible place for support, information and peer contact for young people. The platform provides a safe environment where young people can find reliable information about their symptoms. In addition, the platform provides treatment options and psychoeducation through videos. Young people also get access to stories of experience and personal contact with fellow sufferers under the guidance of experienced therapists.
For the development and content support of the platform, the ADF Foundation is collaborating with Mental Heroes and the Knowledge Center for Anxiety and Stress in Youth (KAS). KAS ensures that youth receive evidence-based information about anxiety and compulsion through this platform. We share only the best scientifically proven knowledge and combine the expertise of healthcare professionals with the experiences of clients. In this way, young people feel heard and supported, while always remaining in control.
Young people look at the world differently, and what is important to them is sometimes different from what adults think is important to these young people. With Brain Warrios, young people can support each other, find recognition and feel less lonely. We hope that with this platform, we can help young people with anxiety and compulsive disorders in an even more targeted way.
