KAS Academy 4U!
The KAS Academy 4U! has been developed by our experts to inform children and their parents about scientific research in an interactive way.
Who is it for?
The KAS Academy 4U! is intended for families with children (6 plus) and youth. Young and old dive into a world of discoveries about emotions, the brain and puberty hormones. For example, visitors can learn how experts look inside the brain with the help of an MRI scanner, they can actively participate in a fact or myth quiz about anxiety and stress, and can experience how scientists discover what attracts your attention with special eye-tracking glasses.
The Academy is flexible. During previous editions, the KAS Academy 4U! consists of 3 to 4 stands. Children and their parents can walk past these stands to learn more about the various studies of KAS experts and to participate in the activities in an accessible way. The stands can change per event, depending on the availability of the researchers and the target group.
